MAGIC MOLLY: THE MIRROR MAZE - Trevor Forest
This was a delightful, light story for young readers - children maybe not ready yet for the darkness is the Harry Potter books but who want a magical fantasy.
This is very appropriate for early elementary school readers (ages 8-10 maybe?). Those who read well and also for those who enjoy having their parents read longer books to them. I think my children would have liked this when they were the appropriate age.
There's danger (parents are missing and need the child's help!), there's adventure, there's some lessons learned, and there's plenty of humor (I love that in school she's given an old wand that is crooked and so she's never able to get a spell correctly).
This is a self-published book and one worth supporting. I don't know if I'll get to any of the other books in the series, but there are a few available.
Looking for a good book? Magic Molly: The Mirror Maze by Trevor Forest is a delightful adventure story for young readers.
